From Student to Management Accountant

Born in the Eastern Region, I came to Accra with a dream to pursue the ICAG program and later a BSc in Accounting & Finance at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

I never imagined I’d find myself in Ghana’s coffee industry, but joining Gold Coast Roasters as an Accounts Officer changed everything. What started as drinking coffee to stay awake during exams became a true journey of growth.

Through hard work, and with the support of my fellow employees, the management of Gold Coast Roasters, my dedicated lecturers at UPSA, and even the wonderful security officers who made campus life safe and smooth, I moved from Accounts Officer → Junior Accountant → Management Accountant all while completing my degree.

Today, every cup of Gold Coast Coffee represents more than great taste it tells a story of empowerment, growth, and Ghanaian excellence competing globally.
